Well, today has been a big one for Rory.
First, and probably least interesting to readers - lol - is that Rory finally did his business somewhere other than the back garden :) .... It's a sign that he is becoming more comfortable and feeler safer in other environments other than a home. So thats a good step forward.
Another reason for making double sure I carry doggy bags in all my jacket pockets at all times :)
Secondly, we took Rory to the beach for the first time. We already knew he loved sand as there was a sand compound at the Hearing Dogs centre and he was soon feeling quite at home there.
The sea was a new experience for him and he was a little tentative at first but soon got the hang of it. It was one very wet, sandy dog that we brought home but after a good drying off and a very looooooooooooooong cold drink he has curled up in his bed and drifted off to sleep.
